The short version
We store your account details, the profile information you give us, your saved applications and documents, and any Statement-of-Purpose material you generate, only to run the matching, tracking, and drafting features you’re using. We don’t sell or share it for marketing, and we don’t run ad trackers. You can export everything as a JSON file or permanently delete your account from Settings at any time.
This page explains what Daa-e stores about you and why, in plain language. "Daa-e" is the operator of this product; there is no separate company name to disclose here yet.
What we store. Your account email and a hashed password (we never store your password in readable form). Whatever you enter into your student profile, citizenship, education history, test scores, budget, and preferences, used to match you against published facts. Your application records: which programs you're tracking, their status, notes, and the checklist documents attached to each one. If you use the Statement-of-Purpose tool, your interview answers and any drafts it generates for you. We also keep basic account metadata like when your account was created.
Why we store it. This information exists to run the features you use directly: matching your profile against published program facts, tracking your applications and their documents, and drafting SOP material from your own answers. We do not use it to build advertising profiles, and we do not run third-party trackers or ad pixels on this product.
Who sees it. Your profile, applications, and documents are scoped to your account, other users cannot read or modify them. We do not sell, rent, or otherwise share your personal data with third parties for marketing or advertising purposes. We use hosting and infrastructure providers to run the service (database and application hosting), who process data only as necessary to keep the product running, not for their own purposes.
Your rights. You can export a complete copy of everything Daa-e holds about you, your profile, applications, documents, and SOP material, as a JSON file from your Settings page at any time. You can also permanently delete your account and all associated data from that same page; deletion removes your user record, profile, applications, documents, and SOP material in a single operation and cannot be undone.
Retention. We keep your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, the records described above are removed immediately rather than retained indefinitely.
