Plain answers about the catalogue, sources, matching, sponsors and your account. No sales pitch, and Daa-e is information, not immigration or legal advice.
Do I need an account to use Daa-e?
No. Browsing the whole catalogue, checking a sponsor, and reading every sourced fact are free and need no account. You only create one to save a shortlist, build a profile, and get routes scored against you.
Is it really free?
The catalogue and the sponsor check are free forever. Daa-e Plus (a paid plan) adds personal 0-100 match scores, the missing-requirements list, and application drafts. See pricing.
Where do I start?
Tell us your goal and we’ll show a first look, no account needed, on the guided start. Or jump straight into the study catalogue or visa-sponsored work.
Where do your facts come from?
Official pages only, university fee pages, government fee schedules, the sponsor registers. Every value links to its source and the date we last checked it. If we can’t source it, we don’t publish it.
What does a verified or stale label mean?
Verified means we confirmed it against the official source and it’s within our re-check window. Stale means the last check is over twelve months old, we flag it in amber and move it up our re-check queue rather than pretend it’s current.
Some programmes have no facts. Why?
The catalogue lists hundreds of thousands of programmes, and our team hasn’t researched every one yet. When a programme’s own tuition, requirements, and deadlines aren’t verified, we say so plainly on its page rather than guess. Use the official course page for those, and check back as we verify more.
A fact looks wrong. What do I do?
Signed in, you can report any value straight from its page. We re-check it against the source and log the correction on that fact, so anyone can see what changed and when.
Will a high match score get me a place or a visa?
No, and be wary of anyone who promises that. A score compares your profile to published requirements and shows what you’re missing. Decisions belong to universities and governments.
How do scholarships work here?
We surface scholarships tied to a programme, university, or country, each with its own cited details, next to the real cost. We don’t administer them, you apply with the provider directly.
Can institutions contact me?
Only if you choose to be discoverable. Your profile stays anonymous until you accept an invitation, and you’re never sold to an agent.
How do I check if an employer can sponsor a visa?
Search the employer’s name on the sponsor check. If they’re not on the official register, they can’t legally sponsor a work visa, treat any offer of sponsorship from them as a warning sign.
Should a sponsor ever charge me for a job or sponsorship?
No. A legitimate sponsor never charges you for a job or a Certificate of Sponsorship. Being asked to pay upfront for sponsorship is one of the clearest signs of a scam.
What happens if I cancel Plus?
You keep Plus access through the period you already paid for, and your saved work stays readable afterwards. You only lose the ability to start newly restricted actions.
Is Daa-e an agency?
No. We don’t apply on your behalf, we don’t take commissions from schools, and we don’t sell your details to anyone who does.
We read everything and reply in plain English, usually within one business day.
